Jiamin Zhou
I am a research associate in Dr. Aaron Field's lab in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. My research focuses on understanding the complex mechanisms underlying persistent pain conditions, specifically chronic low back pain, leveraging an interdisciplinary approach that integrates MRI, serum biomarkers, whole genome sequencing, stool microbiome analysis, and pain questionnaires. I completed my M.Sc. in Biomedical Imaging at UCSF in 2019, and my B.A. in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge in 2018.
