Inbo Han
Inbo Han, M.D., Ph.D., is an esteemed alumnus of Yonsei University and a former research fellow in the Laboratory of Spinal Cord Injury & Stem Cell Biology at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, USA, a position he held from 2010 to 2012. His residency was fulfilled at the Severance Hospital, Yonsei University, from 1997 to 2002.
Following his residency, Dr. Han progressed through academic ranks at CHA University School of Medicine Bundang CHA Hospital Neurosurgery, serving first as an Assistant Professor, then as an Associate Professor. Currently, he holds several prestigious positions including Professor of Neurosurgery, Head of the Translational Research Team, Unit Head at CHA Research Driven Hospital, Vice Dean of Research at CHA University School of Medicine, and Director of the Advanced Regenerative Medicine Center for Future Medicine.
Over his illustrious career, Dr. Han has been the recipient of numerous accolades, including the Best Researcher Award at CHA University in 2010 and 2015, the Best Paper Award from the Korean Neurosurgical Society in 2017 and 2022, the Korean Minister of Health and Welfare Award in 2019, the Ostem Cardiotec Award from the Korean Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Society in 2020, the Neurospine Academic Award from the Korean Spine Neurosurgical Society in 2020, the CG Bio Researcher Academic Award from the Korean Society for Biomaterials in 2020, and once again the Best Researcher Award at CHA University in 2023.
